Foster Made is looking to hire an experienced ExpressionEngine add-on developer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position for an advanced php developer ready to jump in and contribute thoughtfully delivered, beautifully crafted code that exceeds the status quo. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, can lead by example, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills are also a must.
In this role, you will split your time between the development, upgrade and maintenance of the countless custom add-ons driving our client websites, and the support and development of our suite of ExpressionEngine commerce add-ons (e.g., CartThrob).

What we can expect from you
Experience & Ability
- Experienced CMS developer who’s ready to provide thoughtful solutions to complex challenges. You’re experienced with php-based Content Management Systems and ideally have exposure to Craft CMS or ExpressionEngine.
- Deep experience with developing custom add-ons for your CMS of choice. You can bend the CMS to your will, and you know how to do so responsibly.
- Highly skilled at designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases. When the database starts to crawl, you know where to look and how to find solutions.
- Excited about contributing thoughtfully to the architecture and development of content managed sites with complex data models and hundreds and thousands of pages.
- Experienced with source control and Git in a team environment. Merge conflicts don't scare you, and you're as comfortable with git from the command line as you are from the GUI.
- Experienced with hosting environment configuration and set up (e.g.: AWS, SSL, DNS, CloudFlare, Vagrant, Ubuntu, MySQL, PostgreSQL and more).
- Experienced in an agency environment where people, budgets, and results matter. You're confident in providing estimates and know how to stay on-schedule and on-budget.
