Foster Made is looking to hire a talented Developer to support our ongoing retained services relationships. This is a full-time position for an advanced developer ready to jump in and provide thoughtful support, updates, and site enhancements that exceed the status quo. You may be experienced with our tools of choice such as Craft, ExpressionEngine, and Algolia, or you might have a depth of experience in another platform such as WordPress. If your experience is in the latter, then you're a quick learner and you're ready to grow that experience in other tools.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, an excellent communicator, and thrives when working in other people's code. You enjoy working on multiple projects and solving complex challenges for a wide variety of organizations, and you also find joy interacting with other humans and find success in all of the little wins along the way.

What we can expect from you
Experience & Ability
- Experienced developer who’s ready to provide thoughtful solutions to complex challenges. You’re experienced with php-based Content Management Systems and ideally have exposure to Craft CMS, ExpressionEngine and WordPress.
- Familiar with developing custom add-ons for your CMS of choice. You can bend the CMS to your will, and you know how to do so responsibly.
- Familiar with configuration and support of Linux-based hosting environments.
- Excited about contributing thoughtfully to the architecture and development of content managed sites with complex data models and hundreds and thousands of pages.
- Experienced with source control and Git in a team environment. Merge conflicts don't scare you, and you're as comfortable with git from the command line as you are from the GUI.
- Experienced in an agency environment where people, budgets, and results matter. You're confident in providing estimates and know how to stay on-schedule and on-budget.
