Earning a degree in art from the University of Montana, Kelly built her first website to showcase her artwork, not realizing the undertaking would lead to a full-blown career in web development. From self-taught developer to well-rounded pro, Kelly has over 15 years of professional programming experience building custom websites and applications for a wide range of clients. She joined the Foster Made team in 2015.

Kelly specializes in JavaScript, CSS, and more, often taking the lead on projects. Of all of her many skills, she’s happiest writing JavaScript, working where the back and front ends of development converge — where data meets the visual and user interactions are perfected. She is happiest solving complicated problems and collaborating with others.

What do you love about your role?
"Development is a mixture of satisfying highs and challenging puzzles. When it's good, it's like popping a blister or fitting the perfect Tetris block into place. I enjoy building useful things from scratch and improving existing codebases."
