Shawn founded Foster Made in 2005 with the encouragement of his wife, Sara. Since day one, he's worked tirelessly to create meaningful digital experiences through thoughtful interactions with the Foster Made team, our partners, and the people we serve.

I find joy in long journeys, whether it's hiking through the Blue Ridge Mountains or wandering the streets of Budapest.

Lives

In Richmond. Shawn has called Virginia’s capital home since 1997. He currently lives in the Church Hill neighborhood with his wife and five children.

Likes

Spending time with his wife, family, and friends. Wandering the local parks and trails and playing soccer and pickleball. He also enjoys working outside in the yard, dreaming of his next DIY home project, and learning to cook new cuisines.

What do you love about your role?

"When I started out as a developer over 20 years ago, I had a passion for solving technical challenges. As a leader at Foster Made, my focus has grown to include the human side of things. How can I help our clients and team members as people? That’s where my passion lies now."
