It's my honor to introduce and interview one of our newest team members, Bryn Sartain! He's a talented web developer and fun and festive guy that we're happy to have on the Foster Made team. Without further ado, we hope you enjoy this interview and getting to learn a little more about Bryn.
A: Early in my high school years I got wrapped up in architecture and product design using CAD (computer-aided design). This led me to pursue computer animation in college where I wound up making the switch from animation programming to web development. After graduation I got a job as a web developer, and the rest is history. I've always been interested in working with computers and enjoyed the problem solving that coding requires.
A: Flying helicopters.
A: I can do a handstand.
A: Byron Bay in Australia. I got to go there when traveling to Australia in a previous job. It's the most beautiful, quaint town with many cafes and places for whale watching.
A: Who doesn’t want to work with a group of people who are compassionate, helpful, reliable, funny, ethical, creative, goal-oriented... I could go on and on! It’s a pleasure each day getting to collaborate with such a talented group of people and to partner with great clients.
A: 4th of July. In preparation for 4th of July celebrations at Smith Mountain Lake, my friends and I used a bobcat loader to flatten the hill and move massive boulders into place to create a retaining wall for a firepit. The weight of the boulders almost tipped me and the bobcat over at one point but my friends on the dock thought I was doing wheelies on purpose and were clapping and cheering… if only they could have seen my face!! =)
A: I enjoy flying drones and taking pictures of what's down below, mainly of nature and scenery. It's a hobby of mine and allows me to marvel at nature and its beauty.
A: Time does actually heal.
A: Prefer Mac, but perfectly fine with either
A: Fall
A: Pie
A: Mountains
A: Movie
