How It Started
The start of a digital transformation
INTA’s website redesign was one of the most important projects the organization had undertaken in years. Beyond needing to modernize the notably dated website with a new design and build, the project would lay the foundation for a digital transformation across the Association’s multiple channels. Coming alongside Edelman Digital, we joined the project as the designated technology partner to provide strategic recommendations and carry the development portion of the project.
Content Management System
Increased publishing flexibility
The new website we built for INTA was largely centered around their flexible publishing needs. Built on WordPress, the new site embraces a modular design system that empowers INTA team members to easily create and publish new pages with drag and drop content component capabilities. As a result, the content production and management of the new website is extremely intuitive and adaptable.
System Integrations
Synced data for business efficiency
We implemented a number of technical integrations for INTA that helped increase organizational efficiency and ensure data integrity between systems and platforms, including Impexium, their Association Management Solution, and Elevate, their Learning Management System. We also custom built a middleware application with Symfony which serves as a bridge between systems, a member management system that stores and maintains individual and company data, and a method for single sign on.
Search & Discovery
Member-focused search and discovery
We delivered a robust search and discovery experience on the new INTA website through an Algolia Enterprise integration that includes a multi-sourced global search as well as a unique member search experience. Behind the scenes, the integration pulls content from INTA’s various platforms, including WordPress, Elevate, and Impexium. The system also automatically creates query rules based on published content and utilizes deep links into filtered search results, resulting in a lean and efficient website experience.

After launch, INTA shared feedback that the project’s outcome far exceeded their expectations. We developed a powerful, integrated system, providing a significantly improved experience for their diverse and growing membership base and serving as a foundation for future growth and initiatives.
